If it's similar to the Seymo one which was given away with the AT many years ago it is only designed to enable you to tighten up the normal loop knot and maintain an equal sized loop. I think the loop is too big and didn't use it again!

The instructions are on the packaging when you buy one!! If you look at the leaflet you got there are instructions in French on the back then open it out and the English ones are there!

the loop is too big??? omg, if you tie using the smaller one, the loop doesnt fit onto a stonfo connector....

IMO the best bit of kit out there!!!

So are they suitable for tying loops for hair rigs as I have trouble tying them small enough

I ceased using one almost immediately for tying loops on hook lengths, where I was taught finesse was required. Don't see much problem tying a loop on the end of a pole rig with or without a loop tyer!!
