Question Whip connectors

Can anyone suggest the best connect method, for the flick tip on my new whip. Thankyou

I bought a simple fit over"stonfo" type connector and super glued it onto the tip with some trepidation as to security. True I don't often use a flick tip nowadays, there aren't many gudgeon left in our canal stretch, but it's still does the job 10 years later!!

Default whip connection

If you have any place a length of shrink tubing or float rubber, finishing about an inch from tip of whip and then thread inch long length of rubber float type tubing onto rig line, tie loop as per pole rig, place rig loop over tip of whip then push rubber tube over the tip. Sound confusing but very easy
