Default Best fishing brolly?

I got soaked through last night, and all for one chub. Can anyone recommend me a really good box-mountable fishing brolly? there are so many to choose from, it's bewildering.

Btw, if that bloke who was fishing with his daughter is reading, I'd like to say thanks. 10 minutes with an experienced angler is worth 100 hours by the waters edge doing it wrong. Next time I go I hope to bag a load using your advice. Cheers

after having a similar experence to you last week i have been looking at brollies and i thought i was going to have to bight the bullet and spend £50 plus to get a good one. but after looking i ordered a leeda nubrolli 50inch square from bennents and for 28 quid its great it has a removible center pole so you can get right under it when its on your box its lined to, and it looks huge. the square design really increases your coverage. and i doubt u will find a better brollie for under £30.

it does in a way stato, when you relocate the centre pole to behind the ribs, the mount is drilled at a angle so when screwed in the brolly is tilted. i admit this way isnt as convenent to adjust, but it does make it a strong brollie.

Hi all

JT Rodgers shipped me the wrong model (which also weighed a ton!) so I returned it. Still waiting for a refund and still on the lookout. Not fussed about a box-mountable brolly any more, as I take all my stuff in a bag now and use a lightweight chair instead of box. After todays outrageous wind and rain, I'm now looking for a decent brolly/shelter that I can use in the winter too, if anyone has any recommendations? So far, the TFGear Force 8 Day Shelter is favourite.

RSVP

Cheers
