going against the grain peeps, never ad a prob(maybe lucky) wind broke the no4 section of my exceller pole and had a replacement within 2 weeks,(told weak point on section due to manufacturing probs)think all companies have have their probs and due to the amount of products they ship out its bound to happen.but aftersales service should be 1st class on any item by any supplier.got 90% of daiwa stuff and thats the reason i went cos they are ::BRITISH:: still happy and as long as i am i will continue to buy, when not i will change...cant fault you if its that bad for you would do the same...........

ACH, Daiwa might have a point!
I have had the tournament luggage for about 3 yrs now no problem, lots of daiwa reels including TDRS again no problem. Any time i have had a problem with a Daiwa pole section its been sorted within in a week, perhaps your attitude has peed em off and by trying to slate them on a forum do you honestly thing there going to sort out your problems?

Its not just Daiwa some of the worst tackle I have bought as been Preston.
Most tackle now is made in China and in some cases India, buying brand named tackle ensures you pay highest price not get the best quality

Every company out there will have the odd problem, especially big companies like Diawa, taking the amount of sales against complaints the percentage of complaints is very low
a lot can be said for how you look after your kit I have the same luggage and no problems I can see so far, Im quite heavy handed and tend to throw my stuff about a bit,
I personally think Diawa's customer service is very good and they will still be around for many years to come.
