depends on what you want.they normally come in two styles.lined and unlined.on the whole, any of the preston range is about as good as it gets.the gore tex range from daiwa are good, and so are the ron thompson and surridge .as with most things nowdays, you pays your money and you takes your choice.

I have had several B & B's and the worst place for leaks is on the knee's were the pole runs over them. I've had shimano, leeda, diawa and they all went in the same place. I have had a pair of protak TR trousers for 3 years that i am using at the moment and even in the worst of down pours (inter site north match) they havn't leaked so i have know orderd the protak TR B & B and pole jacket which comes to £130 ish. The only gear better than this is the H & H gortex gear but the prices are aprox £180 for B & B.
