30-Litre OPEN-TOP (with SCREW-ON lid) Plastic Barrels - many available
30-Litre OPEN TOP (i.e. full aperture opening with SCREW-ON lid) Plastic Barrels - many available
Previous contents: Foodstuffs
Can probably take as much as 32-34 Litres but this is not official
Dimensions: 55 cm high x 29 cm wide. Sometimes they can be palletised, with 36 barrels per pallet.
Weight: 1.6 Kg
PRICE: £3.25 EACH - Far cheaper than any such brand new barrel you will find!
LOCATION: Birmingham, West Midlands
Please note that these items are on sale elsewhere simultaneously. However, we can be relied upon for a regular supply of these items.
Merits of our 30-Litre Food-Grade barrels:
* These barrels are clean inside and out and are thus ready for use. They are as displayed in the photograph (if there has been one included with this posting - some classified adverts do not allow free images).
* They can be used for collecting waste oil, outdoor pursuits (angling, keeping possessions dry when kayaking, contructing a barge, etc.), camping, caravanning, horticulture (they make very cheap plant pots, and being elongated, plants will grow with thicker bark), bird-/horse-feeding etc. In fact, any purpose which involves creating 30 litres of clearly-defined space is relevant here. The barrels' being food-grade is essential to their diversity of applications.
* The screw-on lid makes pouring in, securing, and pouring out any contents supremely easy.
* The handles facilitate carriage.
* The barrels are stackable - recommended up to 3 high and no more.
LITTLE-KNOWN FACT: * 30-litre barrels are superior to any other size when collecting waste oil in a small-medium enterprise. Their full capacity is quickly discernible. The 30-litre barrels weigh approximately 1.6 Kg each. If collecting waste vegetable oil, which is approximately 0.9 g/ml density, the entire container will only come to about 32 Kg when full. That is enough for an able-bodied adult to haul 20 metres (often a van must be parked this distance from a waste oil supplier due to parking restrictions). Even if using a trolley (Which would be necessary when collecting full barrels of anything above 30-litres in capacity, for example a 50-litre barrel full of waste oil), one would still need to lift the full container into your vehicle at the end of the trek back to the vehicle and when unloading the vehicle. And so, 30-litre barrels are superior to 50-litre barrels. They are the nexus of portability against the backdrop of volume. Furthermore, one could simply give away a 30-litre barrel along with its contents when selling the latter. This would save time.
* To conclude this brief list extolling the virtues of 30-litre plastic food-grade barrels, we can say that they have universal use, and specifically, they are great for waste oil collection in small-medium enterprises, but no matter what size the enterprise, a 30-litre barrel will always find a niche, as it is one of the building blocks of modern life - from industry to outdoor pursuits to ecology. What else would connect so many diverse spheres together? The 30-litre plastic food-grade barrel has something in store for all.

Well, l couldn't find a better place. I just sold a load of barrels to an angler today though. They are a great defence against sharks, it's true, esp. if they are connected to a live wire.

Well, you can come round any time between 8am-9pm and buy them (inc. Bank Holidays) - the warehouse is in Yardley, not too far from Harborne.
I'm working on a courier deal for people outside the Midlands too. Keep an eye on this thread for an update on courier deals if you're outside the Midlands.

Hi all! Sorry, l was away at work, designing a new edition of my advert, and also keeping an eye on other forums where l advertised.
If you want some barrels, drop me a line on 07963 632 484 . Today l have about 40 spare. Next week l should be getting another 200.
Thanks for your patience, and by the way, the new edition of my advert that l will be posting will be the same as the previous, but edited for a few more suggested uses of the barrels etc. and most importantly - l have worked out a courier plan, so now you may collect or have them delivered.
The price per barrel will still be the same, but there will just be the option of a surcharge for delivery.
