I remember,
I think I phoned another shop first and they promised it, so done deal, If it happens again I take your advise. I might try them anyway and cancel the one I've paid for as it just isn't happening, empty promsises only.
Thanks

Default garbo

broke my no5 the other week took it back to wickford angling.waited 2weeks nothing phoned them and was told they would have to order me a new one.not bad considering the pole had only been used 5 times and was not 6months old.garbo carp/match is the pole .only put up 6 sections no knock or bang just parted as i shipped out for the first time.was told i could have knocked it and did not realise.strange as i had over a ton on it 2 weeks earlier and it stood up to it.???

Its Arrived !! BROKEN, after waiting months my No 6 section arrived only to find this one had also broken in the post. You would have thought they would have least marked the cardboard tube as fragile, or even double packed it, but no the section was just placed in a thin cardboard tube and delivered.
I am totally speechless at the lack of common sense with this supplier. Have now been told one is comming direct from France to me.

Gutted is not the word, when I spoke with them they seemed suprised that it arrived broke, even though they packed it a stupid cardboard tube. I have spent £20.00 returning the broken sections so far, I am totally fed up with this outfit. When I asked about some sort of compensation, they said that they had not broke the sections, they had posted it in could faith?
Mail order is killing the tackle business and this I beleive proves it, I should have stayed with a local tackle supplier who said they could have got the section in 3 to 4 weeks, but like a plonker I wanted it sooner and fell for the old mail order trick, NOT ANY MORE!
