There the rubbish outfit that have caused me so many problems, the phrase "not with a barge pole springs to mind"
I was in Wickford angling today and he has a No 7 for a 796, ask for Ron the shop manager he is very helpful. Wickford angling are in Essex, I hav'nt got the number but sure someone has.

Wow I hope their poles arent all that bad for spares. The other week on the Aire and Calder I saw at least three broken G10's all on the same day!

Don't think you are clumsy - I personally think that alot of poles come out of the factories with faults in them but most do not... then these poles with faults get broken easily and people then struggle to get replacement parts.

However I will say one thing about the G10 - it's just too stiff in a strong wind.

I know you're thinking not this bloody pole section again; but it does make intresting reading for anyone wanting to buy a Garbolino pole just DON'T DO IT. Still have not received the section, have been promisied a section direct from France, but as yet no section? I've phoned around and I probaly got more luck hiting the lottery than finding this No6 section a the moment, so I'll stick with the supplier that I paid in August. I really do think that both Garbolino and these mail order shops that promise so much but just can not deliver the goods should be named and shamed in the angling magazines. Probaly won't happen as the magazines rely on the advertising revenue, what a cosy relationship. And the pole manufacturers say that they supply and hold a complete available range of spare; well thats just crap as they don't.
One totally fed up Garbolino owner, but never again.

IT'S ARRIVED IN ONE PIECE; At last after nearly three months my No 6 section for the Garbo 796 turned up. I am now really tempted to sell it, and move away from Garbolino as the spares avability is Crap!
Has anyone else waited this sort of time for Garbo spares or I am unlucky?

Why not send the broken sections off to Esselle pole repairs and get them fixed ?
Only costs about £30 a section and the repair is stronger than a new section and the turn around is usually under a week
