i bought the shimano exage ax at the start of the year from mark777 off this site, fantastic piece of kit for the money, if your wanting to buy new then fair enough but i got mine second hand although in very good condition with 7 topkits all elasticated, cupping kit, 2 fox uni kits, dolly butt and bag for 350, so with all the spares its worked out very well.

remember when buying a pole that your budget isnt just for the pole, you'll need, bushes, connectors, elastic, bungs, tubes, and i also had to buy some new luggage to fit it all in (although i was about due an upgrade anyway.)

also i think when you buy it knew i'm not sure if you get cups with the cupping kit

the garbolino range are good poles for commercials but as creepy says the map poles have a better spares package .what you need to look for is the longest pole you can afford with the most spares with carp up to 10lb you will break a few top kits along the way hope this helps
