Default Feeder Rod

Hello Peeps,

I'm looking for a new Feeder Rod but as I don't do much feeder fishing i've no idea what rods to look at.

I ideally want the rod for barbel fishing as I don't really want to use my carp rods as i think they'll be a bit heavy for the job.

Can anyone give me some suggestions as to what I should be looking at? I don't want to spend too much £100-£125 max

Cheers,

BF1

Cheers Johnny but I don't do Daiwa anymore.

I've had a look on Ebay and have seen a few rods.

Anyone any ideas on what a MAP Parabolix STI feeder system is like?

Hello bigphat,
Don't know if it's too late for you but I have been using the parabolix sti for just over a month now both on rivers and stillwater and I have to say I'm staggered by them at any length. superb for putting the brakes on bigger fish and very good with the smaller stuff. I managed to get mine new for £125.00 (rrp 199.99). not bad for a rod that can be fished at 11,12 and 13' without compromising on quality, don't forget you get two rods you can use in one bag. definately recommended

if you fish big rivers like the trent, severn, i invested £130 in the fox barbel extreme, its fifteen foot long and is a brilliant rod. i can chuck heavy feeders tot the far bank of the trent with ease and it doesnt lock up either. brilliant rod.
