In order to advance Talk Angling matches from being almost entirely Midlands based, the site is looking to create a match setup both regionally and nationally, by setting up defined areas, each area will have a match coordinator who will help in the setting up of matches within those areas and hopefully run one or two as well, the ultimate aim is to have not only a local scene but to introduce matches, such as a TA Championship, TA Teams Supercup, North v South type matches, along with matches at some of the more prestigious venues.

To this end the following regions will be set up, and currently five have members who are prepared to coordinate them.
North West
North East/ York's - Coordinator Oneabung
Midlands - Coordinator Brian G
East - Coordinator D N W
Wales and West
South East - Coordinator Justin Case
South West. - Coordinator stevelockett
Volunteers are needed for North West and Wales and West do not be shy help and advice is available.
Given that they will still remain fairly large areas site members would be more than welcome to arrange matches for TA members within their locality, a PM or E-mail to the appropriate coordinator will help to set any potential match organizer on their way and avoid date clashes with matches that may be in the pipe line, remember its your site you can make it better.

As with most things in life little is for free and a small fee is being looked for, to enable venue deposits where required to be funded, suggested amounts are either £5 or £10 with the later seen as not too cost prohibitive, those members paying the fee would take preference when booking onto a match subject to the number of pegs available, with non paying members filling any vacant places.
Unfortunately we can offer very little other incentives to join as with other sites because all that they offer is FREE with Talk Angling.
Whilst it may not be possible to put everything in place in 2009 a start will have been made, and lead us to be in a far better position for 2010 and onwards.
