NFA Nationals
I don't know if its been covered before but what is the possibility of TA entering a team in the NFA Nationals, we have enough good anglers that are not connected with a team already in the nationals.
We could either enter to get the team promoted or let indeviduals go for a match win either way it would be a good day out.
As i said there may be lots of reasons it can't be done but as long as those picked were members of the NFA/new body and can cover the costs we have some very good anglers who can do a job.

it will cost you£20 pounds to be an individual member of the N,F,A. then the team has to be affiliated to the N,F,A ,which is about £300 plus then theres pools on the day, all told it will cost you an arm and a leg .iv fished nationals through out the years like some of the anglera on this site, and its a very dear day for one match. i hope you get some type of response.tallman

I used to fish them and got a team silver in the div1 so have paid a fair bit in practise and pools but if its £300 to be affiliated then that will be the stopper there. Will it be the same when the new body takes over. Personally i will become a member in its fiest year to see how theyget on representing anglers.

Unless you localise the team to one area I think it would be too big a task to manage steve. As has been already mentioned lads don't seen to like travelling, and you may get interested parties from all over the shop. Some poor sod could end up spending an absolute fortune just on the road alone.
I'd be up for it though.

The membership for this new organisation which replaces the NFA is £20. The individual membership for the NFA was £10. Doubling the annual subs is hardly an incentive for matchmen to join - is it?
From the details in the information pack the NFA was still sending out to clubs wanting to become affiliates as late as the beginning of this month, it costs £185 for a club to enter the Nationals - there are pools, etc. on top of that.
At present, there are no Nationals - the organising body has been wound-up. I can't see any reason why fees will be cheaper - they always seem to go up after major restructuring exercises like this.
