Be too busy catching to take photos hopefully . Not certain how Nigel plans to peg it, but have seen on TF that he suggest taking your trolleys, sounds like we could be on the riverside bank.

Fished there with our club Poplars A C a couple of weeks ago 49lb won the match first time we had seen the place very nice it is to.
Try down the side feeding pellet with some cat meat on the hook or paste,
had a couple of good lumps but left it to late.
Some of the lads used corn at 8 - 11 metres and had good bags of skimmers if you were using worm and caster you got pestered by the smaller fish
Dont be afraid to put the bait in.
Bye the way if you have got them take your tolley's
Have a good day.

We are all on the right hand bank tomorrow, might be a bit of a walk to the furthest peg so trolleys are a must, at least we should not be bothered by the bivvy boys below is the latest match results from Nigel, see you all in the morning I might even have brekky.
Todays match was won from peg 83 with 78lb, second was peg 74 (island peg) with 55lb, third peg 81, with 53lb.(all had double figures, 33 fished)
All on the method, either boily or maggot. Carp and skimmers to 10lb, mostly around 2lb.
Feed the pole line too, with pellets, and there are carp and skimmers on it too.

Good luck all. It should fish well today in these conditions. Shame I can't be there today; it's a good natural venue just how I like them.

Just a brief report, the day was a bit windy to say the least, making control on the pole almost impossible so many opted for the method, Total Fishing took the top three places our only success being a section win for Liquidized with 37lb well done Martyn one of the few to actually manage on the pole,
My match went a bit like this feed a pole line and the margins hopefully these would produce if the method did not come into play, first chuck with the feeder sees the tip go round ok fish on suddenly it kitted to my left and suddenly all tight no not a fish I had hooked Ubats line, soon sorted and out again this time the tip flys round that was followed by a small skimmer, these continued with an to long a time gap between them. The odd carp did put in an appearance nothing better than two pound tho. A quick look on the pole line became very quick and it was back to the feeder, I did hook 4 better fish that soon departed and the scales showed I had 26lb 8oz
Time for a quick pint and an indoor BBQ followed by the prize giving brought the day to a close, I am already loking forward to next years match, lets hope the weather is a shade better.
