Sorry to disappoint you mate but its normally a fish race rather that a scratch match....lol.

In the last 18 months only one open match has been won with less than double figures.

Lee, What are the double figure catches made up of? Is it mainly roach or is it skimmers and bream or perch or even tench?

There have been 6 matches on there this winter.

2 have been won with Skimmers on caster (19lb and 17lb)

2 have been won with half the weight roach on bloodworm and half big perch on chopped/caster.(11lb and 10lb)

the other 2 were won with just roach on bloodworm,(7lb,200 fish and 13lb, 300 fish)
