Cornerstone
i have started the cornerstone matches at Olton from the first Saturday in Feb..excluding the 10th there is a supa cup match there that weekend.....the much inquired Spring League will be run this year starting April 7th no blood & joker (ain't that a surprise
 ) if any one is interested give me a pm....for details....for anyone not sure where olton is its on the Grand Union Canal in the suburbs of Birmingham ( posh side ) Solihul side not far from M42I thank You

it should be between 26 to 30......thats all the pegs i have at Olton Steve as soon as i finalize dates i will post ...normally 6 matches best 4 to count . this year there will be doubles as well. Partner picked on first day just to make it different probable dates are Apr7 ,APR21 ,May5,May19, June 2nd,june16th....entry £25 then £11 per match it is normally full, and to make the payouts the same over the 6 matches match 1 and 6 is paid at match 1.... 2 and 5 paid at 2.... and 3 and 4 paid at 3.... apart from doubles this is the format i used before and every one seems happy

Anyone can fish.Its mainly roach and skimmers,venue record 22lb 8oz,and you normally need between 8lb to 20lb to win.Bait is bread,squat,pinkies and the odd caster fish.You never know where the winner will come from as the bream migrate to the stretch due to a stream running in from olton mere.Theres at least 25 yards between pegs,and its nice and scenic.Even larry teapots won matches on this stretch. thanks cornerstone.

entrance is now £15......i have done away with the doubles ...so book them places its nearly sold out just 30 places left
