Dont like the sound of the wrecked gear.Sod it the hit and holds coming out,and if the fish are more than 10 metres out then tough.

Frank.

Any advice Andy give's ref Rolfs just do the OPPOSITE.

CS,

Dont worry about your gear it's just that Andy did not beleive it when he was told that we use .17 to .19 line as the carp do go a bit (actually they fight like stink)

In May you should still be okay on Black Hydro (if they are avin it then Red) on most pegs 10 mtr will put you on fish or past them, as long as it's not to cold for a few days before.

From May onwards i only set up the Drag-N-Net at Rolfs unless on peg 34.

You should fish the DnN on 34 Malc especially since you broke your fightback on peg 34 the last time

I will if Rolf puts the buoy rope back where it used to be but he's pulled it away from the lillies now

It's made the peg less of a flyer now as the carp are staying just that bit to far from the rope and going along the bank more towards 7 & 33 rather than moving out by the 5th buoy.

At the moment with all the extra water in there any bank work would have to be done from UNDER the water..

The little clump by the buoy was about 4ft under the water the other week.

Bit like our back garden at the moment (severe flood warning AGAIN) thats now 3 times this month.
