Well it's now around 10 past 1 in the morning and i've actually got round to knocking up some paste, all i got to do now is sort all the gear out as it was just thrown in after Saturdays match and i'm sure i dont need ½ dozen Baggin Waggs and 5 kilo of trout pellet which are all some where in the carryall.

Hope to leave about 5.30 so should see you all around 9 (ish)....

Right I know you are all waiting for Polepot to put up the reults, and you are tired from either the drive or bagging but i am a bit dissapointed that no one has yet posted on what was a good day, well organised at a smashing fishery. Nice to meet some new faces as well as some old ones from the intersite matches, although i did not catch a lot I enjoyed the day so thanks Neil for the time and effort in organising our day out.

I had one of those days.Broke a number 4 section, dropped my paste in the lake, and seemed to watch everyone else catch carp.No matter what i did or tried nothing seemed to work. With about 1.5 hours left i was about to call it a day and pack up and watch someone catching. My inside line suddenly came to life.7 carp for 64+lbs,the best going 13+lbs.Why didnt they feed earlier for me?.I lost 4 carp so a ton was on the cards.Well done to the organisers, and a very well done to the weigher ins.Hard work weighing in all those fish. Thanks to rolf for lending me his wellies[peg under water],and i must say that he seemed a decent sort[id heard all sorts of stories].Also the weighing of fish over 8lb etc wasnt as bad as i thought it was going to be.My only complaint of the day was i now have a pulled back. Those carp seemed to think they were bionic,my last fish was 13lb and wouldnt give up.The more i tried to lift it,the more he went down.Well done the winner and coiners, see you next time.

Fabulous day out in great company. Thoroughly enjoyed the day despite being pegged next to the Minx

The main thing was I caught a few fish, lost a few too, but at least I beat both Peter and Gem, a real bonus for me.

thanks to Polepot for organising the day, let me know when the next visit will be.
