I dont think any one has done a sneaky one and been to fish it yet, except maybe Bonehillstar, I will be having a ride over during the next few days and have a chat with Neil i will post any info I may get, who knows I might even take my tackle.

I tied my rigs for this one last week so looking forward to it, just hope it fishes well on the day for us.

Me and a mate had a fish on ashleys on tuesday afternoon.He fished peg 1,i fished peg 3.We really struggled.I had 8 carp in 4 hours or so.I had a run of 6 fish on the trot and decided to force some bait at them.I killed it stone dead.I only took pellets and paste.Someone on the next peg[4]fished into a tree and caught probably 40-50 carp.He had had 30 or so before i got their,so his peg was well primed.One bloke started to catch a few on paste,but it took him some time to get it working.In bonehills defence,i went after a bank holiday so it had been hammered.Neil said they had been very busy,so i suppose the fish were always going to be cagy.At least i got a bit of a feel for the place,never having been their before its nice to know the depths etc.Looking forward to thursday,just hope its not a bloodworm match,cause i wont have any.By the way the fish were pulling a bit on the grey hydro that i was told to use.might change to black.
