Eric and i (posh aint it ) we have a river get together on 21st June at the lido in Stratford this is for any talkangling member who thinks they can handle moving water could be new to some of you, the cost will be £4.50 Ticket
and £5.50 pools so its a tenner and is limited to about 15.BUT i only have a week to say how many pegs we need so need some commitment its gonna happen anyway myself eric are gonna be there but we want you all to be able to see 2 supastars on a river this alone would be worth the money....................... any interest i thank you........rules to follow

Well I will be there to see Larry and Peter the two superstars on the river.
I have forgotton almost everything I ever knew about rivers, having not been on one for a while and it did not take long as I knew very little anyway. Still I do remember that I used to enjoy watching a stick float meander aimlessly through the swim, disappearing only under the effect of the hook dragging on the weed on the bottom.

I am sure Daytona (dad) will join me on the day to run a pole float down the inside line and batter me, bagging up on Perch and Gudgeon
