The pellets have changed now and are available in 4, 6 and 8mm, but you can still only use those bagged and supplied by the fishery.

For those that haven't fished there recently, be aware that you can use a ledger rod in conjunction with a running feeder, no straight leads allowed, and also a waggler rod should you wish.

Right, I've (ok, me n the other half) have been sat here trying to work out the permitations for different numbers of anglers turning up on the day and going off the comments from the last one about spreading the money out because this is a 'friendly' get together, not an open match , so this is what we have come up with. No matter how many turn up, it's £150 for the lake, then :-

25 anglers-
1st - £70
2nd - £60
3rd - £40
then 4 sections of £20

24 anglers-
1st - £70
2nd - £50
3rd - £34
then 4 sections of £20

23 anglers-
1st - £65
2nd - £43
3rd - £30
then 4 sections of £20

22 anglers-
1st - £60
2nd - £35
3rd - £27
then 4 sections of £20

21 anglers-
1st - £51
2nd - £30
3rd - £25
then 4 sections of £20

20 anglers-
1st - £45
2nd - £30
3rd - £25
then 4 sections of £17.50

19 anglers-
1st - £50
2nd - £35
3rd - £20
then 4 sections of £16

18 anglers-
1st - £50
2nd - £35
3rd - £20
then 2 sections 0f £16.50

I've cocked up this time by not getting the peg fees up-front, sorry chaps, but I never expected to be short for this match. If there is a different number of anglers it will be worked out on the day and announced before the draw. Hopefully it wont be any less, I've tried to make it that anyone picking up money wont get less than it cost them, ok, they might only be 50p better off, but that's not what its about
Any complaints please feel free to pm me

No complaints from here Neil.

Payout is fine what ever way you do it as long as the pegs are covered thats all that matters.

As spoke on the phone Ann should be available to fish as well but will double check tomorrow and get back to you.

Heres a peg run down on Saturdays match for everyone.

Peg 2 … Steve W … 62lb
Peg 4 … Roy R … 90lb
Peg 6 … Dirk W … 109lb
Peg 7 … Nick J … 29lb 8oz
Peg 8 … Clive P … 61lb
Peg 9 … Paul E … DNW
Peg 10 … Simon R … 10lb 8oz
Peg 13 …Paul D … DNW
Peg 14 … Nick W-P … 2lb
Peg 15 … Fred P … 14lb 4oz
Peg 17 … Malc D … DNW
Peg 18 … Dave C … 25lb
Peg 19 … Ant H … DNW
Peg 20 … Brian B … 25lb
Peg 23 … Eric R … 31lb 4oz
Peg 24 … Dai T … 5oz
Peg 25 … Ann T … 2lb
Peg 26 … Tim W … 12lb 8oz
Peg 28 … Dave M … 25lb
Peg 29 … Geoff E … 11lb 5oz
Peg 31 … Tony R … 4lb 8oz
Peg 32 … Paul R … 2lb
Peg 34 … Peter M … 26lb 8oz
Peg 36 … Colin S … 5lb
Peg 38 … Nick W … 18lb 4oz
Peg 40 … Mark C … 14lb

Total weight on the scales was 561lb 14oz

Cant really help with what worked as NOTHING did.

I know Dirk sprayed Caster all day for the win but thats about it really.

Also note to all fishing Thursday SOME pegs are still under water so wellies or dry socks will be a good idea.

Better than Summers and a LOT cheaper....

Ref rules same as before really except for the change in pellets supplied (cant remember if they had changed for last PolePot Special down there).

Should fish better on Thursday than it did Saturday as there is an Open on Wednesday and it normally fishes better the day after a match.

Also with less fishing it leaves more room.
