Another deal I have is -

Night boat from Birkenhead to Belfast (this is the one I am doing) travelling out on Friday 25th April, ferry leaves at 10pm and you get to Belfast about 6.30am... off the boat and an hour later in Enniskillen - fishing by lunch time, then pub, resturant, pub, bed!!!

Travel back on Saturday 4th May on the same night boat.

£375 inc ferry and accomadation.

Martin, I will let you know as soon as I hear from him - perhaps you should PM me your mobile number.

Anyone else fancy coming to Ireland for this fantastic festival. Prize money is up this year and it is two weeks earlier than normal so the fishing will be loads better!

Anyone who does fancy it I am happy to do all the arrangements for them - I am not making any money out of arranging it, I just want to get a good group of us together.

For those of you who have never been to Ireland and fished a festival this is the one to go on, we can give you all the info as we have been going for the last 18 years and of course you will be going with a previous champion in yours truly! + I know most of the Irish team and get all the best info!

Tallman, please try and post into a relevant thread or start a new topic - your post above does not relate to the subject of the thread and will just upset members if you post incorrectly.

Back onto the subject of this thread - does anyone else fancy a trip to Ireland at the end of April?

Slight change of direction, but you don't happen to know if they have got any different sections sorted out for the years classic, ive heard that the productive Phils's bay wont be in but that they were looking to try and arrange access to some sections further up towards Maho and Gingers (having had problems that far up in the past)?

Its great to here that there will be a few forum regulars present, with a bit of look we might have Classic winner in the group! Now wouldn't that be worth celebrating.

c u there!:

I'm already booked on with my mate Richard we've been fishing it for years. We stay in Lisbalaw but venture into Enniskillen most nights if your meeting up for a pint or 2.

Hi Guys, if you want too meet up then PM me your real names and mobile numbers!

We already have a Classic Winner in the group - it's me!! I won in 1999.

As for new sections I have been liasing with Kevin Lockee, he is testing out a few of the suggested new sections this week. Some of them like Tully are deep water (It's up past Ely lodge and all into 3.5 - 7M depths, there are a few new possible sections but alot depends on the permissions from the council and that trout fishing board.

There is also the possibility of a new rule this year to allow 15 mins prebaiting 1 hour before the start of the matches to get some extra bait in. People will be limited to one bucket of crumb.
