Lee i'm rubbish at golf too...

but i would be a match for anyone on the pool table..... anyway Lee my fishing is like your footie team I do everything i'm supposed to and show a lot of promise but theres never any end result and I end up dissapointed bit like supporting the wolves really

i used to be in awe of other anglers till you realise they are not doing anything magical just different . find out what it is and your on your way. if some one takes you under their wing the process is even quicker. but beware some anglers speak with forked tongue.

Lee if its any consolation I walked all the way from Quatford to harris's hole and blanked on that after fishing for 7 or 8 hours. my prize for blanking was to riddle everyone elses casters off, take the order for their late night meals, fetch their meals, serve them up, wash up afterwards and be generally abused all night until I could get to bed around 3 next morning. That used to be the beauty of being chang by coming last on the river.
the worst of it though had to be the megawalk back to the car with all that tackle that had served no useful purpose all day

Lee you should know by now I can blank anywhere... Cheekybrat I know what you mean about the walk, they have now put barriers on the industrial estate in alveley so hads to walk all the way up the valley with my tackle too it nearly killed me
