there is a Sensas challenge on the 1st December at Barston!

might not be a good idea to fish the day after it has been balled with bloodworm and joker either.....only a suggestion.

If the Sensas is on the main pool what is the chance of having the match pool!? Cosier and may fish better in December!

I am happy to run the match at any time providing it does not clash with any club commitments I have, on any local venue that provides the facility of a good breakfast and a clubhouse where we can hold the presentation after the match, preferably one that has a bar so we can have a pint after, remember any water chosen might fish hard in late November early December.
At this early stage I dont even know that Barston has the dates available and it now seems that the December dates may not be appropriate, the choice of the big lake would allow more of us to participate, the match lake would see the limit being set at 20 pegs as it only holds 24 to start with and that in itself would see the match lake under pressure.
Please feel free to suggest other venues that may be suitable and I will consider them, it may be better to PM me with your suggestions rather than the thread become an out and out debate on venues.

I am a bit concerned with the reports I was getting on Tuesday as to the number of venues that have fish deaths, so would prefer at this moment to give it a week or two, it would seem that the problem is a bit widespread, with a good number of local fisheries being affected, including several that have been suggested.
