I recognise that Lindholme is a good venue but for me its a little bit too far out of my comfort zone especiall in the winter months, and whilst I dont mind running a few matches I can only do them if they are Midlands based, this of course does not stop anyone else running a match in their own area.
Andy, all TA matches are open to all registered members subject to number of pegs available etc.

Tunnel barn for me brian. Its local and the f1's give you bites on hard days. They normally drop the peg prices in the winter[they did last year for club bookings].If not then manor farm should still be ok,should all catch on island pool[leave out the corners].I like barston but like most venues it can be hard in the winter months.Tunnel and manor farm are stuffed with fish, and the pools arent too big so everyone should catch a few.
cornerstone.
Ps to stop brian getting it in the neck on venue selection why doesnt everyone that wants to fish suggest a venue they think will fish ok,and go with the vote.Come the day if we struggle then we can all blame each other.

The two venues you have named are believed to be amongst those venues that have had some fish deaths, with one having dug a big trench take a guess what that might be for. That is why I want to wait a couple of weeks, and see what the outcome may be. Ok the E.A. have no real handle on why or what may be causing them but I dont want to start organising a match till I know more.
