Bushy both Polepot & myself have requested info from Jeff Moores 'Moorzy'. He has told me he will get the latest info & post for eveybody. This should happen over the next few days. In addition I have asked Danny Hallam to pm me his thoughts on the venue, again i'm expecting his pm over the weekend. I will post his info for eveybody as soon as I have received it.
Having read that 3000 carp were stocked into the pool late Sept I dont think this will be a siver fish match ......... just my opinion, I anit fished it either.

Like I've posted earlier, I've never fished or seen Edwards pool before.
But Asked about it before I fished the open on the new pools today.
Yesterdays match on there fished very well with Keiron Rich winning it with 73lb, 2nd was 58lb plus other good back up weights.
Keiron went for broke and balled in 10 jaffa's of groundbait and fished pellet over it at 9mts and 13mts.
Im not sure if he put the 10 balls in at 9m and started at 13, potting in pellets untill the fish turned up at the 9m swim.
It takes some balls to put that amount of bait in (I certainley wouldn't dare to do it)but it worked for him on the day.
From what I've been told today from others that caught well yesterday, you need to fish 2 lines one at 6m and the other at 9, feed and fishing pellet.
With the 6mt line producing the best on the day.
I think you are fishing for skimmers/ newly introduced small carp 6oz'ish)
plus silvers and barbell to 2 1/2lb.
Hope this helps both teams, good luck in the match and hope you catch a few.
