Neil the newly stocked carp are 6 ozish, there may be bigger carp in there but I'm not sure.
I'm back there on tuesday so will try to find out the fish stocked for you.

Hi Madforit

When you say he balled in 10 jaffa's. What was his mix, did he put any caster in, did he feed pellet etc? what did he use on the hook?

This type of info would be most appreciated

Cheers

fred

Sorry Fred Kieron didn't go it to detail mate, he just said he put in 10 jaffa's and fished pellet over it.
If he's there on saturday I will ask him, but by then it will be to late for the challenge match.

here's the result from the match on saturday,as you can see Edwards fished best and came out on top.

1st
KIERON RICH “Mosella Garbolino”
Edwards - 25
73lb 14oz

2nd
FRANK COOKE “Ray’s Tackle”
Edwards - 18
73lb 08oz

3rd
STEVE WOOLARD “Daiwa Trentmen
Suez - 33
68lb 08oz

4th
JAMIE HUGHES “Chester Tackle Locker”
Edwards - 8
68lb 06oz

5th
STEVE CARRIER “Fisherman’s Tackle”
Suez - 22
67lb 10oz

6th
TREVOR ROBINSON “Browning Border Select”
Brewsters - 12
65lb 08oz

i dont think that works on here matt

I can see this pool being a bit shallower after our match

1) ALL GROUNDBAIT, PELLETS & HEMP MUST BE PURCHASED FROM THE FISHERY.
2) BARBLESS HOOKS ONLY.
3) KEEPNETS ALLOWED, AT MANAGEMENT’S DISCRETION *

That sort of limits your mix choices fred , I'm sure there's a 14's hooksize limit in force too

* - maximum 50lb in one net
