leave it at 11 aside, there will be some pegs you do not want at 22 pegs, never mind 24 pegs.

yes I would agree with WagandMag if we have 5 pegs to play with on the day it will be easier to make sure no one gets a really bad peg.
Because of the distance some of the YMA lads have to come to their matches, they usually call in the nearest cafe for a breakfast, there is one on Kirton Lane (just as you turn up it in Thorne,)Marine Cafe Tel. 01405 818044 home. 01405 812580 mob.07905112306.(if you wish to have a brecky please call them to let them know a few days before, you are coming, gives them a chance to prepare,)
also we at YMA. usually pay a short visit to the nearest pub after the match for a shandy and a chat with freinds old and new,the pub we went in last time (the Rising Sun) across from the cafe, has very kindley said they will put us some bar snacks on (chips) FOC.really looking forward to this day hope we get some decent weather.Phill
ps will post on rules soon.

No hemp, you can only fish feeder/tip on pegs that have the letter "F" on them, no floating pole, FISHERIES OWN PELLETS (SWIMSTIM). If I remember any more I will post.

I just may be passing pine lakes tomorrow with a car full of fishing tackle, if i to happen to drop in i'll have a look at the rules.

Maf

Edit

Just found this courtesy of YF

Pine Lakes is a new fishery situated just outside Thorne on Kirton Lane. It has two lakes one with 27 pegs and another with 14. All have easy access. Stock includes: Carp; F1's; Tench; Ide; Rudd; Roach. Facilities: Separate toilets for Men and Women. Some bait available. Hot and Cold drinks can be purchased. Ticket: £5.00 which includes a Landing Net head+ £1.00 if you want to hire a keepnet. A very sound policy if I may say so. Just remember to return the Net Head. Bait Bans: Boilies: Hemp: Cat & Dog meat: Bloodworm: Joker: Tiger Nuts. Tackle Bans: Braided hook lengths: Bolt Rigs:

I'll confirm tomorrow

Here's the rules as promised.

And here's a map of the lake, I think it's pretty clear from this which pegs need leaving out. The red "F" designates on which swims a feeder can be used but this is only on the lake owners matches, It's at the fishing club's discretion whether to uphold the ruling.

Ideas from every body on how to peg it for 22 should be intresting, and take some pressure away from the organiser, who as we all know can never please every one (after the draw).

Never actually been to the place so just guessing. Leave out pegs 8,10,13,18,27.
Unless any venue regulars can shed any light on things?
