There's a whole lot of missing the point going on here.

The whole point Brian is unless everyone helps with the weigh in it will take forever at that time of year and some poor souls will end up having to weigh and dip thousands of pounds of fish while others sit around and chat or even worse have their fish weighed for them then do a runner
IMO if you fish the match you should help with the weigh in the more dippers and returners there are the faster it will be done and we can all get home quicker

ok dick here's the point. before friday i'd never seen the place. what struck me straight away was no paths around the lake. peg 12 has the longest treck. if its wet it will be a nightmare for your average angler. we have someone who will need help. i have to assume he will draw peg 12 ( sods law) 1.5 hrs soon passes and if you've spent 30 mins helping others then your at a disadvantage. so assuming i would be the one helping i allowed another 30 minutes. firstpeg called to say he would help on the day, problem solved. SO the times went back to there original 11 to 4. so please tell me someone whats the problem. all anyone had to do was to pm me if they had a problem and i would have changed everything i could to help even getting them weighed in first.

also whilst I'm on, could i respectfully ask that only people who have an interest in this thread post. i have no interest in anyone Else's point of view. if you want to say something start a new thread there enough rubbish on here already

so dick if your not happy with my running this match pm me your address and i will refund you your money

Head? Meet wall.

I don't have an issue with you running the match, or what's being proposed.

Will you start a new thread, including finalised:

Venue, date, draw time, fishing time, a list of all confirmed anglers (and paid status), and any reserves.

I'll then delete this thread, and lock the new one. Any changes can then be added through that thread without endless 'input'.

Any problems doing this drop me a PM and I'll help you sort it out.

25. steve 0070.

reserves as listed elsewhere

meet junction 8a m40 services (which is not on the motorway), and very difficult to miss as its a massive complex marked services. 8am to 9 am

move to rolfs which is 2.95 miles from the services directions will be posted the day before the match.

draw 9.30. fish 11.30 to 4.30 ( yes i know ive changed it by 30 mins larry send me the bill) some of our anglers need help to there pegs so ive allowed time for this, leaders making decisions lol.

be warned . you have to use their pellets £ 2.50 a bag dip all your nets and weigh and return any fish over 10 lbs.

also there are very few small carp so tool up accordingly. red hydro was only just enough and 018 is a minimum line as well as carp hooks largest allowable size 10 ( 911).

like all venue's there are good pegs and bad pegs. but i weighed in 6 fish for 50lb and lost at least 8 more fish. the winner had 250lb and was disappointed not to get over 300lbs, second 202lbs tenth had over 110 lbs, and only 17 fished.
the only change to this is no 13 is not fishing.
this is my final post on this site i will see you all at either rolfs or the services. firstpeg will answer any queries you may have. a list of the rules will be posted one week before hand. i will pm everyone before hand. im sure pete m will keep you imformed as to how its fishing via the jinx matches , so look at his blog i can recommend it as a good read.
