I will be at the Slimbridge section of the Glos canal on sunday 6th April(tomorrow) if anyone fancys a day fishing.Pay £3 on the bank if the bailiff comes along.

I fished the canal today in the snow.Had roach and skimmers at 13 metres in the deep water.Could not get a bite on the near shelf at 9 metres.Groundbait did not work either.....probably a bit cold for the fish to eat plenty of food.I loose fed pinkie at 13 metres in 11 feet of water for my fish.It shows the fish will still feed in the cold.....roll on the warmer weather.

I never weighed them.....I had small roach,a roach nearly 3 quarter of a pound and 6 skimmers upto 2lb.The bites were a bit far and few between but at least they are feeding.I will be going again soon once this snow goes away so will have a better idea on how it fishes then.

not yet......they are probably headig to warmer climates to spawn.They never showed themselves like they usually do
