Any other takers for this one - should be quite good if the weather stays like this for the weekend.

Guests are welcome as long as you let me know you are bringing them.

I was talking to someone from Tickhill today (not far from Doncaster) & just in conversation asked him if he knew Arksey. He did & he told me it was flooded due to all the rain.
I haven't got a clue if he was exagerating or if it effects the lake but just thought I would mention it so someone can double check before Saturday.

Hope it doesn't effect the lake & you all have a good match.

I might be able to make it , though no promises.
Arksey isnt flooded as my parents live there, Willow Garth is a nice place , used to fish it a lot as a kid, so would be nice if i can make it.

It is fishing for roach and rudd mainly with the odd big perch, tench and occassional carp. The roach are your target as they average 4oz. Weights of 50lb are possible but this time of year 20lb will be a good target.

Depths range from 3 to 6ft and its light rigs and pinging maggot or caster + perhaps a bit of hemp.

Anyone who is coming this week - DONT go through Barnby Dunn as the bridge is closed.

See you all tomorrow.
