Meadow, I cant see anyone objecting to you having a helper and you will be made welcome. Barston is located about 2 miles from the NEC Junction 6 of the M42. The match pool has nice level pegs and a car park adjoins the pool. Barston has full facilities as it based around a golf club. Heres a link for it

Good thinking Brian, thats exactly why I asked the question. I would be up for a match on the small pool.(having never seen it though)

Its a fairly even venue with a central island easily reached at around 11 metre
should be a fair venue if there is such a thing. It will respond to the pinkie in winter, most pegs have a lily pad on the inside line as well. And before anybody asks NO I have never fished it, in fact I have only been as a result of the Intersite.
