Took the kids for a bike ride along the stretch today, only went down as I could see from the bridge that no-one was fishing before you all moan about bikes etc., and spotted a huge carp basking, must of been at least 25 lb and a shoal of proper bream lots of them looked in the 2-3 lb bracket with a load of smaller samples. At least 25 fish in the shoal. Wish I had got my gear with me. Might have a walk along the length with a rod and a few slices of bread this evening and see if I can't snare a beastie. This stretch of cut really is stuffed with fish and I am surprised it isn't fished by more anglers.

well thats what i thought .......there aint an angler amongst the home squad they are all running scared..i may have to work i may have a bad foot.........my arse...they are in for the biggest defeat any of them could imagine Talk anglings mighty canal side hasnt even mentioned the ringers that will be fishing...defeat is the only option......... for harrisons. i just hope they learn something in there gracious downfall..

i will be there capitan. going up on the 4th to do some spying tk,s rigs ect. i will speak to the enemy and get all the info then. it will be on this site the same day.
