teams of 50 still wouldnt help you.....we have class just oozing from us its not easy being the best team assembled since 1966 i am turning anglers away with pedigrees as long as your arm..................

ray why dont you come up with me a week saturday to TK,s match on the same canal just a bit to the side of the match lenth it looks a belter. im coming through brisle to get to the m4 so its no problem. trouble is im leaving wilts about 4.30, brisle about 5.10am. teapot you,ll have to explain the difference between brumies and the black country please. they all look the same to us west country boys.

I would of come if I didn,t have my own club match on the sunday.I have to be up early tp peg it and sort bits and bobs out so I,m ready for the off.Thanks for asking....if you are fishing any opens anywhere will you let me know and will try best to come with you.

Easy Ian...Brummies talk funny. In fact they never shut up.


Black country lads catch lots of fish...brummies just smell like they do.

i have thought about trying to explain what the difference is ...but to be honest ian.brummies are cute sensitive great all round anglers good sense of humor talk logic and are nearly always a foot taller than there black country counter parts... ill have to leave it at that because of libel or slander laws....

Out of interest some would argue Walsall aint in the Black Country, but it's accepted by others that parts of it is in the BC because of it's association with coal seams

Interestingly the cut we are fishing (Cannock Extension to the Wyrley & Essington) was primarily built to carry coal from the nearby Harrisons pits and Cannock Coalfields
