Fred ur a star as always .. Maybe on day we will all come to u for a match.

Simon its a snake lake so i reckon making a couple of rigs to your top 4 & a couple to your top 2 should be ok. F1's & silvers are the target & I reckon 20lb will be a very good weight on the day. Baitwise i;m taken caster, pellet & sweetcorn.

Bear in mind I aint seen the place either when reading the above.

We are guaranteed a warm welcome from Nigel on the day he is a top guy & his facilities on site are second to none.

Depth down the track is around 5 foot then it seems to slope up towards the central island which is fairly easily reached on most pegs at around 11 metre.
Target species are small carp, skimmers, rudd, and there was some talk that Nigel had or was going to put some chub in. Whilst its not a out and out bagging water it should be reasonably fair and all pegs have some sort of feature to fish to. Caster, maggot, pellet and corn would be about right as a bait list, unfortunately the TF site is down and up to yet I cant find out how yesterdays match on there fished.

Bad news is that someone has mentioned CATCHING fish, I was only coming for the breakfast and the good natured humour that goes with these matches, looks like I am going to have to tie some rigs AND buy some bait now, 6 days and counting
