Just in case anyone is delayed by road works, the bl**dy motorway, or even gets up late, the phone number for Barston is 01675 444890 sorry i do not have a mobile, the reasons for that are 1 - it only rang when I was fishing 2 - when I was enjoying my first pint 3 I was making love to the girlfriend and yes it was the wife. 4 The bleeding things never worked when you really needed them. but I will concede they are usefull in an emergency, but as nearly everyone I know owns one what do I need on for .

Just been for a walk around Barston, only an old boy fishing the match pool learned naff all, except the pool is evenly pegged and to this end I will leave out pegs 21 to 24, these are the danger pegs from those flying golf balls, conditions underfoot are a bit damp, so boots are a must.

Latest weather forcast for tomorrow is .....starting miserable and getting worse throughout the day. Make sure you pack the brolly and some bags of sand to hold it down. Loads of rain forcast so dont forget the waterproofs.

No rain according to Metcheck although the wind looks to be getting a fair bit stonger
