Very well done Matt, and Fred you came good to mate was a bit annoying watching your elastic being stretched by those Carp . But so nice to meet up with the lads and what a great bunch you are. Spent the last hour in the garage drying me tackle off what a day wind and rain sock in me clock, Peg 12 Rive T and did not produce mate very difficult to present, really fancied the peg when I first saw it, but it was nice to be at the side of Larry TPOT what a guy he kept me sain cheers Larry enjoyed your company and banter mate . Brian a big thank you for organising the day for us all.

Great venue would love to fish it again in better conditions.

Just want to echo the comments already made, another excellent TA day out despite the weather & the fish not playing in some pegs
Well done to Matt, (boy has he got faith in pellet!!? ) & also Fred off the peg that I wanted
Special thanks to Simon for making this site continue to function and to Brian for organising the match

Thanks to everyone who came along - shame we didnt have a better day weather wise.

Every time we heard a clunk from the 16th tee everyone on our bank ducked, we did hear a few of those white missiles flying rather close but think it was the guys at the far end of the lake who were really in the firing line - note for the future .... when someone shouts FOUR.. dont turn round and look at were it came from. Scatty came closest to getting hit with one landing in his peg at 6M - should have tried white boilies on the hook bet there are millions of them on the bottom in there!

Well done Matt and Fred good weights considering that the ground and puddles were frozen when we kicked off!

Thanks guys again for a good day out and thanks for everyone making the effort to get there... shame we couldnt stick around for a few beers as we had such a long drive back.

Lastly many thanks to Brian! What a star for organising the get together.
