Hows this place fish in the winter??? What weights can be expected??? what baits/ tactics are usually employed at this time of year???

I have sent my money, now can anyone tell me, first, how to find the place, and secondly, what bait shall i need and what species are we after, how deep is it, and can i loan a rig, all donations will come in handy

Rive t Barston is located Nr. the NEC Birmingham / Solihull. The match pool is fairly even with depths around 5 foot all pegs can reach the central island at around 12 metre although 2/3 my be a bit further, Species are carp to about 7lb skimmers and rudd are the predominate species, I would expect pellet to figure somewhere on the bait table along with maggot if it drops really cold.
I will try and get some upto date info nearer to the match.
