I'm interested in this as I'll fish any match on the canal. We have a Bathampton Open on the Canal but I think it's the week before on the 13th April (B & J allowed). I'll speak to my travelling partner Andy Britt tomorrow to make sure it doesn't clash. He will probably fish aswell if he's free. I'll put the word out to the rest of the Bathampton team as it's on our home patch. Can't have Rich and his mob coming over without a bit of local competition!!
Word of advice to the pegger, if you're not allowing B & J go downstream towards Bath as the pegs above the swing bridge are rank until you get to Dundas bay. Without B & J anglers will struggle for bites after the 1st hour without the worm. There are more skimmers and roach downstream of the bridge and it would better suit a punch match.
I'll confirm tomorrow, Cheers. Graham

The only reason I said no B and J is because some people can,t get any.I only have 20 tickets for this and I have to see who is coming from work yet. Will keep you posted on here as to numbers available.

Sorry Ray didn't realise you were limited on pegs available. My mate Andy's fishing an invitation match in Swindon on the day but I would still like to fish if possible. Can you put me down for a ticket if you have one available? If the weather stays warmer the pinkie and caster will feature so B & J won't be such a miss and it keeps it cheaper for all involved! Shame they limited your numbers as the 20 in the match will probably be the only anglers on 3-4 miles of canal. A bit short-sighted by my mob on the revenue front me thinks.

Hi Fill.....consider yourself entered mate.We will be meeting at the George and Dragon Pub in Bathampton next to the canal as there is road works on the A36 at the moment so no one can get to the venue without a pass which I have. Then we can all travel together as a group. We will all meet at 8.30.....then travel up to the yard and do the drawer there.Hope everyone knows where the pub is if not I can put directions on here.
