for all the lads how are going to docklows pools.. me and the bro had are club match on farmer jacks yesterday it was a silvers only match. but what i have found out that bags up to 100lb have been coming out in the matches in the last two weekend. even in the silver match we were all catching carp and finding it hard to catch silvers the bro had one at ten, all the carp was good fish what was being catched on the day . the match was won on 12lb i finished 6 with 7lb 7oz but if it was a carp as well i think it would have been all in the 70lb to 100lb mark so i think it looks like its going to be good on bk holiday Monday well lets hope so.... we were all fishing maggots on the day good match to took some more point's of the bro he had to buy the beers to... .. lol

j,c i started out long at 13 meters but the wind made me come in, i did have one nice chub of about 2lb on that line. i fished with 0.11 line i would have like to go lighter but there are a lot of big carp in farmer jack, the stozes was dotted out down the line so it would slowly go down to the deck just in case the were feeding at at different layers in the water.. but the wind just would not let me stay steady and i lost presentation so i came in and fished the margin i was fishing about two feet deep with a bulk of stozes at about 14inc for the hook, and a no 11 stoz at 9 incs from the hook again 0.11 line.. i had a lot of carp but just did not want them as you know in them match's when you want carp you get silvers when you want silvers you get carp.. so j,c you need rig set about five foot in some places it is deeper and you need some shallower rigs to.. i give you more info if you need it on the day lets just hope the weather is going to be better then what it is now it going to be a fun day out i just cant wait ........
