We are holding a Festival over 2 days at 5 Ways Lakes and Hawksbury Hall.
The details are as follows.

Fishing Festival

at
5Ways Lakes & Hawkesbury Hall

£2000 Prize Fund

Entry fee £50.00,Fishing for 2 days on the 7th and 8th of June 2008.

Draw at 5 Ways Lakes on Saturday 7th of June at 8.30am.

The overall payout is as follows:-

1st £600 2nd £400 3rd £300 4th £200 5th £100

Winner at both venues each day receive £100.00.

Breakfast each day will be available from 7.00am

There are 50 places available 32 already gone,mixed fishing carp and silvers.
25 will fish at each venue on both days.Caravan and Camping facilaties are available at 5 Ways Lakes,Showers toilets cafe etc.To enter just let me know your name and I will book you a place.Then just follow it up with a cheque for the entrance fee.

Lake sizes depths islands etc, is it mainly carp or mixed fishery.

Fiveways Fishery, Wolvey
Hope this helps Chief .This two lake fishery is now owned by Paul and Karen Merchant. It is also a family camping and caravan site. Mallard is the ‘specimen’ lake and boasts fish over 25lb, including a known mirror of 28lb. All the usual carp baits work here and “floaters” are productive here. Night fishing is allowed on this lake by prior arrangement and there are 40 available pegs. Kestrel is for the match and pleasure angler and this 60 peg lake is producing plenty of fish including the newly stocked ‘stockie’ carp, there are plenty of silvers to be had with a good head of Bream. Hot areas are the pegs where you are able to reach one of the three islands especially at the tackle hut end. The lake boasts a 6ft depth and reduces to nothing at each bank, shelves all the way round..There are on-site tackle and bait facilities and also a well run café (bacon butties can even be delivered to your peg).
