CHARITY MATCH to RAISE FUNDS FOR L.A.T.C.H WALES

LATCH is a voluntary organisation set up to support the special requirements of the children's oncology center in Wales which is based at the Children's Hospital for Wales to help affected families and promote research in childhood cancer.
We are very much an ongoing charity as the needs of the children change constantly with new treatment techniques and new equipment being made available. Essential parents' accommodation is also provided. All this is dependent on the public's help to ensure that children with cancer and leukaemia in Wales obtain the best facilities available.

VENUE:
Both Canal Lakes at White Springs
DATE:
Sunday August 24 2008
At the moment we have both canals booked which is about 80 pegs but if they fill up we have the option to increase to other pools on the venue.
Entry fee is £10
which will cover the peg fee which will be £4 and £6 will go straight to the Charity.
There will be additional optional pools on the day of £5 main pool and £5 section pool with 100% payout
To register please post on this thread and details of where to send your entry money will be forwarded to you.
Each entrant will also be given a Sponsorship form to gain extra money for the charity and if each person just gets £5 of sponsorship then we would be looking at almost £1,000 being raised from peg fee donation and sponsor money alone.
Posters are being printed at the moment and will be placed in shops and fisheries by next week so get your name down quick.
Jeff (polein) is the main man behind this event with a little help from myself (Malc) and we are both working on sorting out plenty of Sponsorship so that a raffle can be run on the day as well and there may also be an Auction on the day.
Lets make this a huge event and raise loads of money for a worthy cause.
