Default Midlands Match at Cuttle Mill

I am considering running a match at Cuttle mill fishery near Wishaw (Sutton Coldfield) it would be a week day match and was considering either 23rd 24th July or 30th or 31st, Great facilities and easy to get to and find, just wanted to gage the interest before i confirm anything, the venue is closed until the 16th June as they still practice the closed season, lots of work has been done and lots more fish have been stocked, check out their web site.
Lokk forward to your comments and interest.

mate i do like the sound of the match. although im not particularly keen on the venue. is the riddings to far for you to travel then we could have the match a little sooner and we would not have to wait to the 16th of june. also mid week is very good for me at the minute.

your thoughts please pole master

No Shaun the riddings is not far for me to travel to, as i live near Kingsbury, the reason i like Cuttle Mill for a match venue is that it is fairly new to matches, it also gives anglers who are not mad on carp after carp and how fast you can haul em in a chance to catch some massive bags of roach and other silvers, it would be interesting as although carp will play a part in the match it would not suprise me to see a true mixed bag of fish taken on pole, feeder, waggler in fact lots of methods, i am not a massive fan of the out and out commercial and like Cuttle Mill or not it is a true natural venue that is as pretty as anywhere and you never know what is going to take your bait next. As i said it is just to see what people want, if they want to go and catch 10 -15 carp for 100lb then the riddings may be there option, but i like variation and going somewhere new for a match, not sure why you dont like the venue Shaun, its not the waiting for the 16th of June, its when i can get the time off work to fish and what suits everyone else. Why not organise a match at the Riddings, i am sure it will suit a lot of people, i have nothing against the Riddings but i have done my time hauling carp after carp fishing for a dozen bites, thats why i finished trout fishing because you know what your gonna catch time after time and to me it gets boring, i know i am in a minority but love natural mixed venues, i just love catching fish, any fish, as i said its just an idea.
