Simon we want to catch fish as well as get drunk!!

Right been to White Acres last week and have spoken to Clint, there are 3 new off site ( less than 10 min drive) lakes awaiting the council permission to open, each lake has 18 well spaced fishable pegs. These can be booked for matches, mini festivals etc.

If this is a going to happen we need min 16 people.

If your interested send me a pm with what months best for ya in 2009 and lets see if we can get this on.

OK so if you go to a 300 peg match in Ireland you are going to get a couple of bad days but the trip is well worth it, I will be definately going again next year and anyone who wants to tag along is most welcome.

This thread is not about Ireland now - it is for those that want to go on a small TA festival on a a commercial.

stafford moor in feb is £500 brilliant silvers venue if you go in sept its £750 and the carp dominate. probably one of the best all round fisheries in england and well run with its own tackle shop. opens sunday and wednesday, site/ residents match friday. rest of the time up to you. accomodation 5 star. pub up the road. going twice sept 08/ feb 09 but will be up for another week if there,s enough.

Perhaps if someone is serious about taking the bull by the horns and doing the organising then they will start a new thread having done the research and got some prices etc..
