Larry,

Before you drop out consider it is not all fishing 13m poles all day at Rolf's. A lot and I mean a lot of fish are caught only a few feet from the bank. When I caught 242lb from there last year I never fished past 3m all day.

Larry

Keith is spot on with regards NOT needing to fish long at Rolfs.

From Jan this year to September i fished there 16 times and the only times i fished further than 6 mtrs was during the depths of Winter other than that i wont go further than 6mtrs and mostly a lot shorter.

Right, I am expecting a rush of cheques tomorrow morning, with it being two days after the deadline As I open them they will be added to the list until we reach the 30 limit ! any that come after that will be put on the reserve list. If that person does not get a place his cheque will not be cashed
But, I will be sending the deposit off as soon as I get 30 cheques/postal orders
(what do I do with postal orders )

Neil

Postal orders can either be cashed in your local post office (if they know you it's a lot easier) or paid into your bank account same as a cheque.

To be honest it's got to have been 1 of the worst crimbo's ever....

Even worse than when the car blew up last year on the M4 on Xmas day...

All the kids and Jue have been down with a bug since Xmas eve, my backs been giving me jip and a wasted trip yesterday to Reading as 30 of the family never turned up so we drove back home last night (well arrived home at 3.30am this morning).

But what the hell it's over now and we've deceided next year were going away for christmas proberly Portugal so at least something good has come out of the past couple of days.

He's only going to Portugal becuase the water in the lakes and rivers is a lot cleaner for when he goes in for his annual wash.
