Hi newtothegame.
Went to Hacketts Lake this Sunday gone. Totally unprepared for the first time trip - theres some big stuff in there!!
For a days fishing it cost £6 for 1 rod and £7 for 2, no bait bans but no keepnets.
Stood talking to the owner ( Dave) for about an hour who tells me it was closed for a couple of years to allow restocking to settle, plan has paid off because its on top form.
Cheers
Steve

Hi Newtothegame
Just turn up on the bank and Dave will meet you, I did a google search but nothing for a site from them.
I went on Sunday for 4 hours, very strange day as the water came up 3 foot while I was there. (snapped of 3 times and lost 1 big un).
Going down again n Wednesday to try for the carp off the top.
Let me know if youve been and how you get on
Cheers
Steve
