Thanks for any advice guys, jacky

Won't the rest of the team tell you? I fished it a few times about 2 years ago anl it was eiter method feeder or pellet cone and pole with pellet meat and corn, even cat meat if you can stand using the stuff, I can't! Ask site member DNW, I'm sure he's fished it recently.

Thers a clue lads that jacks could be a lady member, rippling waters v rippling bodies mmmm is all a girl needs.
Mind I could of course be wrong but might be the reason that the male members are telling her little.

Yes Brian your right, i am female !!
thought by signing my name as 'jacky' would convince people and as for the other 31 of my team members (ALL MALE), YES they do get a little edgy when i fish, just can't get higher than 6th place at the moment
Ahh well.... just try my best on sunday and see what happens.
cheers lads, Jacky

Give my old mate Weldec a PM, he has fished Portland a few times, and will give you an idea of tactics depths etc even if he has not fished it recently

jacky - if it's the part of portland waters with the car park in the middle it's whats called the "canal" or as locals call it the "doughnut"- as the later name suggests its basically a circular pond with the middle used as a car park. from the inside bank where you fish to the outside bank is about 16m pole length !! last year it fished very well on just about anything bait wise but especially meat ! but the best pegs are as you go over the bridge on either side 2,3,23,24 i think. what date are you going ?
