going down tomorrow went last week fished the speci lake on the burr used 3 tins of corn and 4 pints of feed pellets but caught very well on pellet at 6m and then margins from 2pm biggest fish approx 20lb but a lot of skimmers and large bream had about 15 carp and loads of bream approx 8ft of water at 6m hope this helps

hi
try the pellet wag m8 as far as you can feed,cast every 30 seconds or so you should have a few.as said before try down the first shelf on the paste or corn you might have a few skimmers but the carp will soon move in.

hi m8 i fished speci lake at the end of june ,had a great weekend lots of fish !!!!! if u fish at 5-6 mtr with the fishery pellets lose feed corn and pellets with abit of meat and you will not go wrong. i had more luck on the quiver tip on the method so try that m8. have a great time!!!

chuck the pellet wag mate feeding 8mm with 8mm banded on the hook and feed a line at 6m with corn and a bit of meat and fish meat over the top, if ur on burr bank u'll have 8-10ft at this distance with more like 5 - 6ft on chalet bank.
i'd also feed pellet and corn down the margins but dont b tempted to go on it too early!! shud fish its tits off

Cheers dhumpy, would you say you need to fish quite heavy line on pellet wag and what line, hook size and elastic would i need on pole line. Thanks mate.
