Unhappy River Trent

Hi all ,

I am wanting to fish the trent, middle to upper (i think) willington, burton ,derby areas wondered if anybody could tell me how its fishing and how/where to get day tickets from?

I remember fishing these areas as a kid, with my mate and his dad back in the day lol,but not sure where to start i.e feeder/trotting , i remember some nice stretches ...but not sure if my memory is a little clouded !!!

I went on the trent at beeston yesterday and at clifton grove today........never even got a blooming bite,absolute dire springs to mind

Theres been a bit of pollution through the Tame and the reaches of the Trent where the Tame, Mease etc join the Trent, that was last weekend, Maybe its a knock on from that. The pollution was a result of storm water so hopefully it is nothing too major although reports were of roach to 2lb and barbel to 6lb seen floating in the Trent
