hi i have been to furnace mill recently and i had a good day on peg 78 mill pool. i had 15 tench 60z-2ib 5 carp 1ib-8ib and alot of crusions over all about 30-50ib but i see that the match results are 100ib + i fished down the edge at 6 mtrs and across the bank at 8 metres but not in the gully .. i added a section and i got my first snag after the 2nd fish in the gully and help on how to get the big wight and not get snagged

If you fished it in the day you will not catch a big weight there as the carp dont feed, all ton weights from the venue are done in an evening when the fishery comes too life.
