Talking Riddings Match Lake

got match on sunday on riddings match lake. was going with caster shallow, corn down margins and cat food. do they fish the paste? haven't fished this pool before so any help would be gratefully recieved. cheers.

If you are going to fish shallow you will be better off fishing luncheon meat 6mm cubes as feed and hookbait as there are a lot of silvers, and you may get bitted out. There are also a lot of skimmers around the pound mark and you will catch these shallow too.
Also have a shorter line and fish cat meat over corn, or you will catch on paste if you prefer. If you are opposite the island a feeder or wag to the island also works but you need to get tight to the island.
Also if you have open water a cage feeder with liqqy bread and popped up bread on the hook will also work.
It fishes miles better in the afternoon/evening but you should still need 40lb to frame. Afternoons you are looking at 80lb to frame.
There are some big lumps around 15lb so I wouldnt go too light. especially in the margin.
